Mangalayatan University is a private university established in 2006, recognised by University Grants Commission with NAAC A+ Grade. WIFT Functions as a vocational Training Partner (VTP) OF Mangalayatan University & provides complete training For their B.Voc in Visual Effects & Animation course in a regular mode.
This course provides complete knowledge on 2D Classical & Digital, 3D Animation & Visual Effects. The first semester covers fundamentals of art and design. The second semester includes 2D classical and digital animation. The third semester covers all the elements of 3D Animation, so that the student is capable of developing 3D short films. In the fourth semester the student is exposed to a detailed curriculum of visual effects. In the fifth semester the student chooses any one from 4 specializations offered and learns the advance features of that selected module. In the sixth semester the student builds his portfolio in this selected module.
This is a one year intense course that provides complete knowledge on 3D Animation & Visual Effects Starting from basics, the first module covers all the elements of 3D modeling, lighting and Texturing and moves to 3D Animation, rigging and rendering in the second module.The third and forth module deals with compositing and Visual Effects.The student builds his portfolio in the specialization area at the end of the course.
The Diploma in VFX Filmmaking is a comprehensive 1 year + 1 month (specialization) program meticulously crafted to equip aspiring filmmakers with the essential skills and creative prowess demanded by today & entertainment industry. Starting from basics, the first module covers all the elements of 3D modeling, lighting and texturing and moves to 3D Animation, rigging and rendering in the second module.The third module covers visual effects and film editing. The final module deals with foundational VFX filmmaking instructions in screenwriting, direction, and cinematography. Unlike traditional VFX diplomas, this integrated course delves beyond technical proficiency, encompassing vital elements of storytelling, direction, cinematography, and digital film editing.
